I'm not a doctor. I'm a woman who finally stopped leaving herself off the list.
For most of my life I was the one who held everything together. The strong one. The one who was fine, even when she wasn't. I was needed, but somewhere in there I stopped being asked how I was doing. And I got tired in a way that sleep didn't fix.
I didn't turn it around with a diet or a big plan. Honestly, I'd abandoned enough of those. I just started turning back toward myself in small, natural ways. A pot of herbal tea in the evening that no one could interrupt. Ten quiet minutes that were mine. Slowly learning that rest isn't something you have to earn.
None of this asks you to turn your whole life upside down. Everything here is simple, written the way I wish someone had written it for me. I make no promises about your body or your health. Only this: you're not broken, and you're allowed to matter to yourself again. Start wherever feels easiest.
